DAMS <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF LaTOUR OLDSMOBILE, INC., <br />FOR THE SALE OF A POLICE AUTOMOBILE TO THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD <br />WHEREAS, LaTour Oldsmobile, Inc., a responsible bidder, duly filed its <br />bid with the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield, in accordance with law, <br />offering to sell to the Village a new 1970 Oldsmobile four-door Delta 88 sedan, <br />model 5469, equipped in accordance with specifications, for the sum of Three <br />Thousand Three Hundred and Three Dollars and Eighty-Six Cents ($3,303.86), with <br />an allowance of Seven Hundred Three Dollars and Eighty-Six Cents ($703.86) for <br />trade-in of a 1967 used Pontiac stationwagon automobile now used by the Village <br />Police Department, and said bid is in accordance with the specifications <br />established in connection with the Notice for Bids; and <br />WHEREAS, said bid of LaTour Oldsmobile, Inc., is the lowest and best <br />bid submitted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council o•f the Village of <br />Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The bid of LaTour Oldsmobile, Inc., offering to sell to the <br />Village of Mayfield a new 1970 Oldsmobile four-door Delta 88 sedan, model 5469, <br />and equipment as described in its hid submitted in response to the advertisement <br />for bids, for the sum of Three Thousand Three Hundred Three Dollars and Eighty-Six <br />Cents ($3,303.86), and title charges, with an allowance of Seven Hundred and Three <br />Dollars and Eighty-Six Cents ($703.86) as a trade-in for the 1967 Pontiac station- <br />wagon automobile now used by the Village Police Department, be, and the same is <br />hereby accepted. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village are hereby <br />authorized and empowered to execute all such documents and to do all things <br />necessary to carry out the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3.
