Not Passed <br />ORDINANCE N0. 69- $1 <br />SY: MR. SCHMIL'T <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY IN THE NORTHEAST PORTION INTO APARTMENT <br />HOUSE DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that certain land in the northeasterly <br />portion of the Village of Mayfield, hereinafter described, is presently <br />zoned in part for single-family residence purposes and in part for <br />restricted multi-story apartment house purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that the land hereinafter described is <br />not being used for either of the purposes above referred to by reason of <br />the above conflicting zoning classifications; and <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that the re-zoning of such land for <br />apartment house use will be conducive to the public health, peace, <br />safety, comfort, prosperity, convenience and general welfare; will <br />provide mare profitable uses for the owners of the land; will provide <br />added and needed tax revenues for the Village, enabling it to carry on <br />needed functions; and will not substantially inure any other property <br />in the Village or the use thereof. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of <br />Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The following described property, hitherto in part <br />in a Class U-1 District and in part in a Class U-3 AA District, shall be <br />transferred to a Class U-3 District according to and as shown on the Maps <br />which are hereto attached, marked Exhibits "A" and "B", and made a part <br />hereof, said land being denoted as "Upper Forty" on said maps: <br />
