ORDINANCE N0. 70- <br />BY: MR. LEECH <br />AN ORDINANCE TO EMPLOY HUSTON & <br />ASSOCIATES AS ARCHITECTS FOR THE <br />REMODELING OF THE PRESENT VILLAGE <br />HALL OR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />NEW VILLAGE HALL. <br />Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, County of <br />Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of <br />Mayfield are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Huston E <br />Associates as architects in connection with the remodeling of the present <br />Village Hall or the construction of a new Village Hall. Fees and contract <br />terms are to be in accordance with those established by the Ohio Society of <br />Architects; provided, however, that no compensation is to be paid to said <br />architects unless and until a bond issue is approved and bonds are issued <br />for the purpose of financing the above described project, or until other <br />financing is obtained. <br />Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby ordained to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public. peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants and for the <br />reason that it is necessary immediately to make necessary provision for housing <br />the Village activities in other than rented quarters, and this Ordinance shall <br />be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 16th day of February, 1970. <br />R-P SIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />ATTEST: <br />~~~ ~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK-T ASURER <br />
