<br />ORDINANCE N0. 70-28 <br />BY: MR. BOGER' <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BZD OF THE G. R. <br />OSTERLAND CO. FOR THE SURFACE TREATMENT OF <br />SENECA, GLENVIEW, BONNIEVIEW ROADS AND ZORN <br />LANE AND RAVINE DRIVE. <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield has advertised <br />for bids according to lava for the surface treatment of Seneca, Glenview and <br />Bonnieview Roads, Zorn Lane and Ravine Drive, and <br />[dHEREAS, the bid of the G. R. Osterland Co., a responsible bidder, in <br />the amount of $4,426.80 is the lowest and best bid submitted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section.l. The bid of the G. R.' Osterland Co, for the surface treatment <br />of Seneca, Glenview and Bonnieview Roads, Zorn Lane and Ravine Drive, for the sum <br />of $4,426.80 is hereby accepted and the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract in writing with said company for <br />said purpose. <br />Section 2. Said sum of $4,426.80 is hereby appropriated from the <br />Gasoline and Street Maintenance and Repair Fund, in order to carry out the provisions <br />of said contract. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, peace, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants for the reason that it is <br />imperative that said streets be repaired without delay because of their rapidly <br />deteriorating condition, and said Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 15th day of June, 1970. <br />ATTEST: <br />..1 <br />~. -~ <br />F!s"` ~ YOR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />~~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK-TREASURER <br />
