ORDINANCE N0. 70-38 <br />BY MR, LEECH <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INVESTMENT OF TREASURY FUNDS <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec.l. Whenever there are moneys in the Treasury of the <br />Village- o~ayfield, Ohio, which will not be required to be used <br />for a period of six months or more, such moneys may, in lieu of <br />being deposited in a bank or banks, be invested in accordance with <br />the provisions of Section 731.56, 731.57, 731.58, 731.59 of the <br />Revised Code of Ohio. The investments so purchased may be sold <br />in accordance with Section 731.57 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Sec.2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and <br />its inhabitants, because such funds are necessary for the purchase <br />of vitally necessary equipment to carry on the functions of the <br />Village, and this Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and <br />after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of September, 1970. <br />ri <br />ayor Press ent o Counci <br />Attest: <br />v <br />~~ <br />S L C er -Treasurer <br />
