ORDINANCE N0. 70- 4]~ <br />BY: MRi Leech <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2(a) OF ORDINANCE <br />N0. 887, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE N0. 993, BY <br />INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF THE BOND OF THE CLERK <br />OF THE MAYOR'S COURT & TOWN HALL CLERK. <br />Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, <br />Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. Section 2(a) of Ordinance No. 887, entitled "An Ordinance <br />Creating the Position of Clerk of the Mayor's Court & Town Hall Clerk, Fixing the <br />Tenure, Compensation and Duties Thereof, and Repealing Ordinance Nos. 650, 757 <br />and 856", as amended by Ordinance No. 993, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 2(a) Bond. The Clerk of the Mayor's Court 6 <br />Town Hall Clerk shall give bond in the sum of $5,000.00 <br />with sufficient surety to be approved by the Mayor." <br />Section 2. Existing Section 2(a) of said Ordinance No. 887, as amended <br />by Ordinance No. 993, is hereby repealed as of the effective date of this <br />Ordinance. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in order to have proper <br />protection of the funds handled by the Mayor's Court, and this Ordinance shall be <br />in full force and effect from and after the earliest period permitted by law. <br />Passed this 21st. day of September , 1970. <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ <br />(SEAL) CLERK-T ASURER <br />/r <br />f" MAYOR-PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />~' ~ <br />
