2 ?g ORDINANCE No. 867 By Mr. Belzer pN ORDINANCE LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE IMPROVED,1fiNT OF I.ANDER.ROAD IN THE ViISAGE OF MAYFIELD BETWEEN,CERTAIN TERMINI.BY THE CONSTRUCTION_ OF A 3ANITALiY SEGTER. WITH CORB CONNECTIONS AND APPURTENANCES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIT, OF THE VILI.AGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY STATE OF,OHIO, THAT: Sec. 1. That the revised assessment of the cost and expense of the I improvement of Lander Road in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, from the existing I sewer in Wilson_Mills Road Southerly to the Southerly corporation line of the I Villages of Mayfield and Highland Heights by the construction oE a sanitary sewer, with curb connections therefor and the necessary appurtenances I amounting in the aggregate to $ 29,912.31 , as reported to this Couttcil on - the 16th day of November, 1964, by the Engineer of this Village, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of this Council be, and the same is, hereby , adopted and confirmed, and that there be and hereby are levied and assessed ? upon the lots and lands bounding and abutting upon said improvement the I several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments are in proportion , to the special benefits and are not in excess of any statutory limitatiott. Sec. 2. That this council hereby finds and determines that the revised assessments as now on file in the office of said clerk are in the same pro- portion to the estimated assessments as originally filed as the actual cost of the above described improvement is to the estimated cost of the improvement as originally filed. Sec. 3. That the assessment against each lot or parcel of land shall be payable in cash within 30 days after the passage of this ordinance or at the option of the owner in twenty annual installments with interest at the same rate as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued in anticipation of the collection of the same. All cash payments shall be made to the Treasurer of this 4illage. All assessments and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of said 30 days shall be certified by the Clerk of this Couttcil to the County Auditor as provided by law to be placed by him on the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected. I Sec. 4. That the Clerk of this Council shall cause a notice of passage of this ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of getteral circulation .._ I in this Village and to continue on file in his office said revised assessmeats.
