-7 ' <br />Ordinance No. 883 <br />By Mr. Sloan <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF McGINTY BUI7.DING COMPANY, <br />INCORPpRATED,. FOR THE CONSTRUQTION OF.A,SERVICE_BUILDING <br />IMEREAS, due advertisement was had,according to law, inviting bids <br />for the construction of a Service Building in accordance with specifications <br />filed with the Council; and <br />Wk1EREAS, the bid of McGinty Building Company, Incorporated, in the <br />amount of $19,010.00, which included the alternate bid of $729.00 for <br />colored sheets, was the lowest attd best bid submitted by a.responsible <br />bidder, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY TNE COUNCIL OF THE VIIJI.AGE OF MAYFIII.D, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, TNAT:_ <br />Sec. 1. All bids except that of McGinty Building Company, Incorporated, <br />are hereby rejected and the Clerk is directed to return to the bidders their <br />bid checks or bid bonds. <br />Sec. 2. The bid of McGinty Building Company, Incorporated, in the <br />amount of $19,010.00, which includes the alternate bid of $729.00 for <br />colored sheets, is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby <br />authorized to execute an pgreement with MeGinty Building Company, Incor- <br />porated, for the construction of a Service Building in accordance with its <br />bid. <br />Sec. 3. This Ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants because of the <br />necessity of obtaining protection as soon as possible for the vehicles of <br />the Village against the weather and elements, and this ordinance shall be <br />in force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of April, 1965. <br />Attest: <br />(seal) <br />,?Zefl-r-r.??L ff- `?2?a???... <br />Mayor - President of Council
