I FROM NEWMAN PONTIAC, INC. . , . <br />s ' WEIIItEAS, Newman Pontiac, Inc., a responsible bidder, duly filed <br />Lli? its bid caith the Clerk of the Village o£ Mayfield, in accordance with <br />Q law, offering to sell to the Village a new 1965 Pontiac Station idagon <br />Qa,l Automobile for the sum of $3,130.69, less an allowance of $90.69 for a <br />C- ' used 1959 Ford Station Wagon ( without radio equipment and_siren) now <br />t$S being used by the Village Police Department, making a net cash difference <br />of $3,040.00, all being in accordance with the specifications established <br />? in connection with the Notice for'Bids and in accordance with the bid <br />? submitted by Newman Pontiac, Inc.; and <br />0 <br />0 WHEREAS, said bid of Newman Pontiac, Inc. is the lowest and best <br />bid submitted. <br />' NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILI.AGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTX, OHIO,,THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The bid of Newman Pontiac, Inc., offering to sell to the <br />Village of Mayfield a new 1965 Station Wagon Automobile and equipment, <br />as described in its bid submitted-in response to the advertisement for <br />bids, for the total sum of $3,130.69 plus title charges, and offering <br />to purchase from the Village its used 1959 Ford Station Wagon ( without <br />radio equipment and siren) for the sum of $90.69, leaving a balance <br />of $3,040.00 and title charges to be paid to Newman Pontiac, Inc., <br />be and the same is hereby accepted. <br />I Sec. 2. The Mayor and the Clerk of the Village are hereby <br />authorized and empowered to execute all such documents and to do all <br />things necessary to carry out the provisiotts of this ordinance. <br />?Sec. 3. This ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />? necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its itthabitants in <br />order to obtain as soon as economically possible better police <br />, protection through more efficient equipment, and the said ordinance shall <br />? go into effect and be in force immediately upon the date of its passage. <br />?
