O,z <br />1?1 <br />ORDINANCE No. 894 <br />By Mr, Shaw <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION AND BONDS <br />OF THE_PLECTED OFFICERS,AND TIiE COMPENSATION_OF_MGMBPsRS <br />_ OF COUNCIL:OF_THE_VILLAGE_OF._MAYFIELD <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY,_,OHIO, .THAT;. Sec.'1: The annual salaries and bonds of the various <br />elected officers of..the Village of Mayfield, commencing January lst, <br />1966, and continuing until further order of this Council, be and the <br />same hereby are, fixed as follows: <br />Officer Salary Bond <br />Mayor $1,800.00 $ 500.00 <br />Clerk-Treasurer $3,170.00 $15,000.00 <br />Sec.'2'. Compensation for members of Council for terms <br />commencing on or after January lst, 1964, shall be $30.00 for each <br />_Council meeting attended. Compensation for members of Council whose <br />terms do'not expire in the year 1963 shall remain at $20.00 for each <br />meeting attended during the balance of their terms. <br />Sec'.'3'. On and after January 1, 1966, all checks and <br />withdrawal sTips on bank accounts of the Village of Mayfield shall <br />be signed by the Clerk-Treasurer and either the Mayor or the <br />President of Council pro tem. . <br />Sec. 4. Existing Ordinance No. 806 will no longer be <br />effective a ter January 1, 1966. _ <br />Sec.'-'S`. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health, safety, and welfare of'the Village of Mayfield <br />and its inhabitants, in order to get qualified persons to file for <br />said offices, and this ordinance shall_be in force and effect from <br />and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 21st day of June, 1965. <br />19yor - res3ent ot o?uncil <br />Attest: <br />? <br />i 4 <br />EAL ? lerl <br />
