Not Passed <br />ORDINANCE No. 901 <br />By Mr. Mason <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF TNE <br />PILLAGE OF MAYFIELD BY TRANSFERRING.CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />ON SANDAI.i400D DRIVE FRO1.4 CLASS U-1 USE DISTRICT <br />TO CLASS_U-4,USfi_DISTRICT <br />WNEREAS, Council finds that certain land abutting Sandalwood Drive <br />in the Village of Mayfield, hereinafter described, presently zoned for,single- <br />residence purposes, is not presently used for such purposes; and <br />idkIEREAS, Council finds that the re-zoning of such land for Class U-4 <br />( Commercial) purposes will be conducive to the public peace, health, safety, <br />comfort, prosperity, convenience and general welfare, will provide the most <br />beneficial use for such land, and will not substantially injure any other <br />property in the Village or the use thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, this amending ordinance has been suUmitted to the Village <br />Planning & Zoning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestion, and <br />said Cortmission has been allowed a reasonable time for consideration and <br />report and has made its report thereon, and a public hearing has been had <br />thereon, with notice of such hearing given in the manner provided by laco. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE VILLAGE OF IIAYFIELD, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO, MIMBERS CONCURRING, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The following described property, hitherto in a Class Use-1 <br />District, shall be trattsferred to a Class U-4 (Commercial) District, according <br />to and as shown on the map which is hereto attached, marked,Exhibit "A" and <br />made a part hereof, said land being located oa Sandalwood Drive and being <br />further described, as follows: _ <br />"Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga, attd <br />State,of Ohio, and known as being Sublots Nos. 12 and 13 in U. C. F. <br />Realty Corporation's Subdivision No. 2, as shocon by the plat recorded <br />in Volume 191, Page 74 of Cuyahoga County Records, and bounded and <br />described as follows: <br />"Beginning 210 feet Easterly from the center line of S%1 Center <br />Road at its intersection with Sandalwood Drive, and extending Easterly <br />204.78 feet; thence Southerly 199.96 feet; thence Westerly 195 feet; <br />thence Northerly 55 feet to a point; thence Westerly 20 feet to a <br />point; thence Northerly 144.42 feet to the place of beginning, be the <br />same more or less but subject to all legal highways."
