ORDINANCE No. 904 <br />By Mr. Shaw <br />(9 <br />? <br />Sk <br />0 <br />? <br />W <br />? <br />4 <br />IsJ <br />0.. <br />0 <br />ME <br />_ <br />ty- <br />C) <br />0 <br />m <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 541, AS AMENDED, <br />REGUL!lTING THE USE, STORAGE, AND TRANSPORTATION OF. <br />EXPI.OSIVES,.BY AMENDING S&CTION.2 THEREOF PERTAINING <br />TO LIABILITY INSi1RANCE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF rIAYFIELD CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: , - - <br />Sec. 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 541, etttitled "An Ordinance to <br />Regulate the Use, Storage and Dransportation of Explosives for Blasting <br />Purposes and Pyrotechnic Displays" as amended, is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br />"Sec. 2. Before a permit to do blasting shall be issued, the <br />applicant for such permit shall file a liability insurance policy in <br />the sum of $100,000.00 for any one individual, and $300,000.00 for <br />any accident, covering bodily injury, and wrongful 'death, and in the <br />amount of $50,000.00 covering property damage oE any nature caused <br />by such blasting. Such policy must be approved by the Solicitor of <br />the Village and the policy or copy tliereof shall be filed with the <br />Chief of Police." <br />Sec. 2. In all other respects, said Ordinance No. 541, as amended, <br />shall remain in full force and effect. <br />Sec. 3. This ordinance is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary Eor the immediate preservation of the public health, safety, <br />peace and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in <br />order to ptovide proper insurance against damage in case of blasting, <br />and said ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after the date <br />of its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of July, 1965. <br />? <br />R <br />? <br />? <br />ffi <br />G.J! <br />Attest: Mayor - President of Council <br />lahMJ e7 (.Y <br />(StAL) C erk
