In the event the proceedings for such work so abandoned, or post- poned, is revived and aetively pursued by the VILLAGE, he shall perform the balance of the services to be rendered under this_agreement and not previously performed, and he shall credit against the total compensation due any payments made under Paragraph 2b. Sec. 2c. The fee provided in Paragraph 2a hereof shall cover engineering services ittcluding preliminary estimates and reports, complete detailed plans and specificatiotts, preparation of monthly and final estimates for cotttractorsT payments. The above schedule of fees does not include property, topographic, boundary, or right-of-way surveys, line and grade stakes, resident engineer, inspection of construction, shop, mill, field or laboratory inspection of materials; cost of test borings or other sub-surface explorations, or calculation of special assessments. These latter services may be provided by the ENGINEER on an hourly basis in accordance with the schedule of rates hereinafter set forth in Section 2d, Sec. 2d. For all engineering services in connection with any and all public improvements constructed by the VIIS,AGE in cooperation with any Federal or State or County Agency, or work not let.by contract; or for special_surveys, reports, etc., or for the preparation o£ special assessments and for any and all servicesnot specified above nor ittcidettt to nor connected with the construction of public improvements, compensation shall be made on the basis of time spettt by him or his employees and associates at the rates set forth in the following schedule of hourly rates. SCHEDULE OF HOURLY RATES Village Engineer or Registered Associate $10.00 per hour Party Chief, Draftsman or Calculator , 6.00 per hour Field Crew, equipment and transportation 20.00 per hour Inspector 5.00 per hour Materials, supplies & services by others At Cost Payment shall be made under this section at the completion of each service attd upon billing by the Engineer. The Village Engineer or Registered Associate shall attend regular Council meetings and be paid for 2 hours' time on the basis of the above mentioned rates for such person. The Village Engineer shall not, without assettt of Council of this Village, accept any employment from any person, firm or corporation, engaged in the business of establishing allotments or erecting buildings within the Village o£ Mayfield.
