ORDINANCE No. 943 <br />By Mr. Busa <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 360, BY <br />INCREASING THE FEES FOR SUBMISSION OF PLANS TO <br />THE ARCHITECTURAi. SOARD OF. REVIEW <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILI,AGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT; <br />Sec. 1. Ordinance No. 360 entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance <br />No. 86, the Bailding Code, by Providing for 4n Architectural Board of Review <br />and an Advisory Architect" as amended by Ordinances No. 372,.409, 609, and 618, <br />which adds Section 13-1 and 13-2 to Ordinance No. 86, commonly known as the <br />Building Code'of the Village of Mayfield, is hereby amended as to Section 13-1 <br />(e) as follows: , <br />"Sec. 13-1 (e). All plans for new buildings or esterior alterations <br />must be $ubmitted to the Board, together with a registration fee of $10.00 <br />f or each out-building, garage, addition and alteration, $15.00 for each <br />single or two-family dwelling house, and $25.00 for each apartment house <br />building, gas station and commercial building, which fee shall be collected <br />by the Board and paid to the Village Treasurer, beEore the Board will <br />make any review. No building permit shall be issued by the.BUilding <br />Inspector unless plans and specifications sha11 have been first approved <br />in writing by the Board upon affirmative vote of a majority of the members <br />present at a meeting of the Board at which there is a quorum. <br />"Plans must be submitted in triplicate, and shall include the <br />following: <br />1/ Site and location plan, which shall show existing adjacent <br />finished grades attd proposed fittished grades relative to the <br />street grade ( note: The inclusion of sewer connection elevations <br />will facilitate actiop by the Board); 2/Basement or Foundation <br />plans; 3/Allfother floor plans; 4/All exterior elevations; <br />5/Rough plan for flat roof structures; 6/Sufficient scale details <br />to define the character of the design; 7/Location of garages <br />and driveways on plot plan. All drawings shall be shown at a <br />definite scale as indicated and shall be reproduced at the scale <br />drawn. The drawings and plans submitted shall be drawn as the <br />building.is proposed to be built. <br />"p. schedule of exterior materials, finish and colors must be <br />shown on the drawings submitted; samples of exterior materials may be <br />required. Plans for remodeling buildings which afEect the exterior <br />appearance shall be accompanied by a drawing sufficient to show the <br />existing building or taith photographs of existing building and surroundings."
