ORDINANCE No. 957 <br />By rir. Wauker <br />AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO VACATIONS AND HOLIDAYS <br />OF II42LOYEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIII.D, OHIO. _ <br />BE IT ORDAINfiDBY TNB COUNTIL_OF THE VILLAGE.OF MAYFI II.D,-OHIO, TNAT: <br />Sec. 1. Every full time employee of the Village of Mayfield, including <br />such employees of the Police Department and the Service Department, the <br />Building Inspector, and the Town Hall Clerk, shall be entitled to the following Annual <br />vacations with pay at the regular rate oE compensation: <br />One week's paid vacation after twelve full months of service, <br />Two weeks' paid vacation after three full years of service, <br />Three weeks' paid vacation after fifteen years of service. <br />Sec. 2. Every employee of the Village of Mayfield covered by Section 1 <br />oE this Ordinance shall be entitled to one extra day's vacatiott with pay for <br />each of the following Holidays on which he has worked for the Village within <br />a period oE 12 months prior to the date that such vacation is taken: <br />New Yearts Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, <br />I,abor Day, . Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day <br />Sec. 3. The head of each Department shall determine the schedule of <br />vacations for the employees thereof, but in case of dispute, the matter <br />shall be settled by the Mayor. <br />Sec. 4. Vacations shall not be cumulative but must be taken withi? <br />the year earned. <br />Sec. 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the <br />earliest period permitted by law. <br />Passed this 18th day of April, 1966. <br />
