ORDINANCE No. 962 ByMr. Busa AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE ISSUE OF A NOTE IN ANTICZPATION OF THE LEVY.OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS AND IN ANTICIPATION,OF_THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS IN ANTICIPATION OF THE,COLLECTION_OF SPECIAI, ASSESSTiENTS FOR THE ._ , IMPROVFSIENT OP.LANDER,ROAD _ . . , _ WNEREAS, the Council of the Village of rlayfield, Ohio, has heretofore by legislation declared the necessity of improving Lander Road by grading, draitting, curbing, paving and constructing curb conttections where necessary, together with all necessary appurtenances, and by constructing a sidewalk, with all necessary appurtenances. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAPNED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VtIS,AGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY_OHIO,, TNAT: Sec. 1. That it is hereby declared necessary to issue bonds of the Village of Mayfield i n the sum of $33,500.00 for the purpose of raising money in anticipation of the collection of special assessments for the improvement of I,ander Road in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, from Glilson Mills Road in a Southerly direction to the Southerly corporate line of the Villages of Mayfield and Highland Heights, by grading, draining, curbing, paving and constructing curb.connections where necessary, together with all necessary appurtettances thereto and constructing a sidewalk, together with all necessary appurtenances as provided in Resolution No. 666 adopted January 17, 1966. Sec. 2. That said bonds shall be dated September 1, 1967, shall bear interest now estimated at 3-1/27a per anttum, payable semi-annually and shall mature in twettty (20) annual installments after their issuance. Sec. 3. That for the purpose of raising money in anticipation of the levy of special.assessments and in anticipation of the issuance oE bonds in anticipation of the collection of special assessments for the improvement of the above named street by grading, draining, curbing, paving attd constructing curb connections where necessary, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto and constructing a sidewalk, with necessary appurtenances, to pay the property owners' share of the cost and expense of said improvement, it is hereby declared necessary to issue and there shall be issued a note of said Village in the amount of $33,500.00. Sec. 4. That such anticipatory note in the amount aforesaid shall be issued bearing interest at such rate not exceeding 3-1/2% per annum as may be fixed by the Village Clerk-Treasurer in his acaard of said note at private sale, such interest to be payable at maturity. Said note shall be dated as of issuance and shall mature on or bef ore one year from such date. .? 1
