(c) pll dwellings or structures which are structurally unsafe, . <br />? unsanitary, or ttot provided with adequate safe egress, or which <br />constitute a fire hazard, or are otherwise dangerous to human life, <br />or which in relation to existing use constitute a hazard to safety <br />or health by reason of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, <br />obsolescence, or abandonment are, for the purposes of this <br />ordinance declared to be unsafe dwellings or structures. All such <br />unsafe dwellings or structures shall be repaired and rehabilitated <br />or shall be demolished and removed in accordance with the procedures <br />specified herein. <br />Sec. 5. FOUNDATIONS. <br />(a) All foundations of every dwelling or structure ahall be maintained <br />,„ structurally sound and in good repair. <br />(b) All foundations of every dwelling or structure shall be maintained <br />in such condition as to prevent the accumulation of moisture <br />within the space enclosed within such foundations, <br />(c) All openings into the foundations of every dwelling or structure <br />shall be protected against the entrance of rodents. <br />Sec. 6. EXTERIOR WALLS ,AND ROOF <br />(a) 411 exterior walls of every dwelling or structure shall be maintained <br />„ weather-tight and shall be maintained so as to resist decay or <br />deterioration from any cause. In order to insure maintenance of <br />weather-tight exterior walls resistant to decay or dtterioration, <br />all such walls shall be painted periodically or otherwise protected. <br />(b) All roofs of every dwelling or structure shall be maintained <br />weather-tight. <br />Sec. 7. INSECTS, VERMIN AND RODENTS <br />All dwellings or structures and the premises thereof shall be maintained <br />free from sources of breeding, harborage and infestatio¢ by insects, <br />vermin or rodents. <br />Sec. 8. ACC&SSORY STRUCTURES. <br />All secondary or appurtenant structures on premises such as sheds, <br />barns, garages, fences, etc., shall either be maintained in good <br />repair and free from health, accident and fire hazards or shall be <br />removed from the premises.
