ORDINANCE No. 983 By Mr. Mason AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO THE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CERTAIN STREETS AND ROADS.BY THE,BOARD OF COUNTY_ COMMISSIONERS OF,CUYAHOGA COUNTY,.OHIOq GIVING_THE_ CONSENT.OF THE YII.LAGE OF MAYFIELD TO THE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CERTAIN ROADS WITHIN THE,VII,I,AGE. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved a Maintenance and Repair program for the year 1967; and WNEREAS, a number of the roads to be maintained and repaired are Village Streets and also County Roads known by the following names and lying between the limits designated, viz: Road From To Highland Road S.O.M. Center Road W. I.ine Mayfield pillage Wilson Mills Road I.ander Road E. Line Mayfield Village White Road S.O.M. Center Road W. I.ine Mayfield Village I,ander Road S. Zine Mayfield pill. Wilson Mills Road Ridgebury Blvd. Westerly Village I.ine Easterly Village Zine WHEREAS, the maintenance and repair may include'any or all of the follow- ing operations at the discretion of the County Engineer. 1. Repairing roadway berms. 2. Cleaning and repairing culverts and drainage systems. 3. Repairing and maintaining road surface. 4. Mowing weeds on berms. 5. Repairing and installing guard rail. 6. Installing and repairing road signs and warning signs. 7. Painting center lines and marking R. R. crossings. NOW, THIItEFORE B& IT ORDAINBD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE ViLLAGE OF MAYFIELD. That it is declared to be of pulilic interest that the consent of the pillage by and such consent is hereby given to the maintenance and repair on the above mentioned highways between the termini aforesaid, by the Board of County Commissioners. .
