The locatiott and width of any entrance and exit accessways, on <br />local or collector streets, shall be planned and constructed so that the <br />center line of any accessway serving a corner lot shall be at least <br />100 £eet from the right-of-way line of the nearest intersecting street; <br />provided, however, that driveways to serve gasoline service stations <br />shall be in accord with "Regulations Governing Ingress and Egress at <br />Gasoline Service Statioas,Fronting on Highways" Ohio Department of <br />Highways, Feb. 1, 1955 or amendmettta thereto. Aecessways serving <br />interior lots shall be spaced at not less than 180 foot intervals <br />measured from the ceater line of the accessways. <br />All entrances and exits shall be limited to not more than <br />three lanes, confoxming with the following schedule: <br />one-lane <br />two-lane s <br />three-lanes <br />Width oE Accessway <br />Min. ft. Max. Ft. <br />10 12 <br />18 24 <br />27 33 <br />The radius of the edge of the apron of any accessway shall be <br />at least 20 £eet so that a car may enter or leave the curb lane without <br />obstructing vehicles in other traffic laneso The maximum curb cut shall be limite <br />to the width of the accessway plus the radius of the apron. <br />Sec. 2. In all other respects, said Ordinance No. 763 shall remain in full <br />foree and effect. <br />Sec. 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary to bring the regulations concerning the <br />districts above described in accordance with approved standards, so that <br />such standards can be applied imaediately to proposed development plans <br />which are now pending, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after the date oP its passage. <br />Passed this Q_ day of V VaJ 1967. <br />Attest: <br />Mayor - President of ounci <br />r 7 <br />(Seal) Clerk-Treasure
