<br />1. Standards and Design - Parking Facilities <br />a. Off-street parking spaces, not less than the following <br />facilities shall be provided whenever a new use is hereafter established, <br />an existing building is altered which results in an increase itt f loor <br />area of building, or whenever the use of an existiag building is changed. <br />Motels; one space for each lodging unit plus ten additional <br />spaces for each motel. <br />fiating and assembly facilities; one space for each four <br />seats plus ten additional spaces for each facility. <br />Office, laboratories production and distribution establishments <br />One spade Foz eacfi 1.5 Fhiplbgee'Q oE one spade for every 300 square feet <br />of building area,,whichever provides the greater nmnber of spaces. <br />b. Location aad Size <br />- The facilities shall be located on the same lot as the main <br />building or use served. Sach parking space shall be not less than 190 <br />square Eeet, 9-1/2 feet x 20 feet$ exclusive of drives and turning <br />spaces. Parkirtg facilities shall be provided on the same lot as the <br />main use served in industrial districts. Wherever the application of <br />the standards as set forth in Sec. 30.6, subsection 1, a. as to "nimmber <br />of employees", results in a lesser number of parking spaces than <br />required by the application of said standard as to "square feet of <br />building", the commission may permit the constructiqn of the lesser <br />number of spaces; provided, however, the additional area required to <br />provide the number of spaces under the "square feet of building" <br />standard shall be reserved and held as open area along with all, <br />required yard areas, for future construction of parking spaces until <br />the use of the building is changed to a classi£ication having a <br />greater number of employees in relation to building area. <br />c. Surface Improvements <br />pll parking areas and driveways shall be graded and shall be <br />surfaced wi.th asphalt, concrete, or other similar hard surface as <br />required by the regulations of the Village. Bumper guards shall be <br />provided to establish the limits of each parking area except at <br />accessways. <br />2. Standard and Design - loading Facilities <br />Off-street loading facilities shall be provi.ded whenever a building <br />is hereafter erected, altered, or occupied for a use involving the <br />receipt or distribution of materials or merchandise as follows:
