? <br />\ A <br />? <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. l p?i •- --- ? <br />By Mr. Shaw „ <br />AN ORDINANCE TO qMSND THE ZONING ORDINANCB OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF MAYFIELD BY TRt1NSFERRING CSRTAIN PROPERTY_IN THE.__ <br />NORTHWESTERLY PORTION OF.THE VII.I.AGE FRM4 CLASS U-1 USE <br />DISTRICT AND OFFICE-LABORATORY.DISTRICT TO PRODUCTION- <br />DISTRIBUTION DISTRICT <br />BE IT ORDp.INfiD BY THE COUNCII, OF THE VIlLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />OFIIO, Tf1AT: <br />WHEREAS, Couttcil finds that a large amoupt of land in the Northwesterly <br />portion of the Village hereinafter described, naw zoned for Class U-1 Use <br />District and Office-I.aboratory District has not been used for such purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that it would be conducive to the public health, <br />peace, safety, comfort, proaperity, convenience and general welfare to transfer <br />such property to a Production-Distribution District, which would provide more <br />beneficial uses for the owners.of land, would provide added and needed tax <br />revenues for the Village, enabling it to carry on needed functions, and would <br />not substantially injure any other property in the 4illage or the use thereof; and <br />WHERSAS, Couttcil finds that this amending osdinance has been submitted to <br />the Village Planning & 2oning Commission for approval, disapproval, or suggestions, <br />and that said Commission has allowed a reasonable time for consideration and report, <br />attd has approved the same in the foLm herein set forth, and that a public hearing <br />has been had thereon, and notice of such hearing given in the manner provided by <br />law. <br />NOW THEEtEFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD <br />COUNTY OF WYAHOGA AND STATS OF_OHIO.THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The following described property, hitherto in Class U-1 Use <br />District and Office-Laboratory District, shall be transferred to the Production- <br />Distribution District, according to and as shown on the map whtch is hereto <br />attached, marked "Exhibit A" and made a part hereof; <br />The followi.ng described land, approximately 68 acres of total <br />area, shown as encircled in red and being part of the land contained <br />in drea No. 2 as shown in the map attached to Ordinance No. 764 and <br />also attached to this ordinance, and further described, as Eollows:
