? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />0 <br />O <br />m <br />ORDINANCE No. 1009 <br />By Mr. Davis <br />Cte) <br />¢ <br />? <br />t? <br />? <br />s <br />w <br />Cn <br />d <br />LtJ <br />0- <br />w" <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />U <br />O <br />m <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AAIEND SECTION 11 OF ORDINANCE N0. 634 <br />ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE SETTING UP CERTAIN REQUIRFSMENrS <br />FOR SWIMtrSING POOLS, PROVIDING REGULATIONS FOR THE USE AND <br />OWNERSHIP FOR SUCH APPURTENANCES AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES <br />FOR VIOLATIONS", WITH REFERENCE TO PORTABLE POOLS <br />BE IT ORDAINED SY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF bfAYFIELD, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA <br />STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. Section 11 of Ordinance No. 634, entitled: "An Ordinance <br />Setting Up Certain Requirements for Swimming Pools, Providittg Regulations <br />For the Use attd Ownership For Such Appurtenances and Prescribing Penalties <br />For Violations", is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 11. Home Pools. The provisions of Sections 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 <br />and 10 of this Or'dinance shall not apply in the case of a family <br />swimmittg pool intended solely for persons of the immediate family <br />attd non-paying guests and where such pool is maitttained on the <br />premises of the home owner; and the provisions of this ordinance , <br />shall not apply to portable pools havittg a water supply of under30" <br />in depth, except that all steps, ladders and other means of access <br />to the interior of any portable pool ( regardless of water depth ) <br />shall be removed when such portable pool is ttot in use." <br />Sec. 2. In all other respects, said Ordinance No. 634, as amended <br />by Ordinance No. 770, shall remain in full force and effect. <br />Sec. 3. Existing Section 11 of Ordinance No. 634 is hereby repealed <br />as of the effective date of this ordittance. <br />Sec. 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, <br />and welfare of the inhabitants of the Village of Mayfield in order to provide <br />for the safety of persons using portable swimming pools, and this ordinance <br />shall be in full force and efEect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of June, 1967. <br />? <br />d <br />w <br />a <br />? <br />w <br />U) <br />d <br />w <br />Attest: <br />Mayor - President of C uncil <br />? .v? <br />(Seal Clerk-Treasu er
