? <br />? <br />ORDINANCE No. 1012 <br />F7 <br />W <br />Cn <br />? <br />? <br />EL <br />C'd <br />:9 <br />? <br />Ly <br />0 <br />0 <br />CD <br />By Mr. Shaw <br />AN ORDINANCE ?SIENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE N0. 887 <br />BY PUTTING THE CLERK OF THE MAYOR'S COURT <br />' CLERK ON AN ANNUAL SALARY BASIS <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCZL OF THE VILLAGE OF PfAYFIEI.D, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO THAT: <br />Sec. 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 887, entitled; "An Ordinance <br />Creating the Position of Clerk of the Mayor's Court & Town Nall Clerk, <br />Fixing the Tenure, Composition, and Duties Thereof, and Repealing <br />Ordinances Nos. 650, 657, and 856", is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 2. Beginning as of July 1, 1967, the Clerk of the Mayor's <br />Court & Town Hall Clerk shall work 30 hours per week and shall be <br />compensated at the rate of $3,350.00 per year, but such compensatiott <br />may be changed at any time by resolution or ordinance passed by <br />Council, and the occupant of said position shall have two weeks <br />vacation with pay each year at such time as is specified by the <br />Playor. The vacation pay shall be computed upon the basis of the <br />average weekly pay received by the occupant of said oEfice during <br />the calendar year in cahich the vacation is granted." <br />? <br />e <br />? <br />r <br />? <br />W <br />U) <br />Q <br />W <br />(L <br />0.'S <br />? <br />? <br />C? <br />m <br />Sec. 2. Existing Section 2 of Ordinance No. 887, as amended by <br />Ordinance No. 944, is hereby repealed as of the effective date of this <br />ordinance. <br />Sec. 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants <br />in order that proper personnel may be obtained to do the work of the <br />Mayor's Court, the Police Department and the Service Department, and this <br />ordinance shall take effect and be itt force from and after the date of its <br />passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of June, 1967. <br />Attest: <br />?
