ORDINANCE N0. 1016 <br />By DAVIS <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION AND BONDS OF <br />THE ELECTID OFFICERS AND THE COMPENSATION OF MEMBERS <br />OF COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYEIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The annual salaries and bonds of the various elected <br />officers of the Village of t4ayfield, commencing Sanuary lst, 1968, and <br />continuing until further order of this Council, be and the same hereby <br />are, fixed as follows: <br />Of f icer <br />Salary <br />Bond <br />Mayor $ 3,600.00 <br />Clerk-Treasurer _ $ 3,500.00 plus <br />$ 3.00 for each hour spent by <br />him in the administration of <br />the Village income tax, if it <br />is in effect <br />$ 5,000.00 <br />$ 5,000.00 <br />Sec. 2. Compensation for members of Council for terms commencing <br />on or aftez January lst, 1968, shall be $50.00 per month. Compensation for <br />members of Council whose terms do not expire in the year 1967 shall remain <br />at $30,00 for each Council meeting attended. <br />Sec. 3. All checks and withdrawal slips on bank accounts of the <br />Village of Mayfield shall be signed by the Clerk-Treasurer and either the <br />Mayor or the President of Council pro tem. <br />Sec. 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety, and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, <br />in order to get qualified persons to file for said offices, and this ordinance <br />shall be in force and effect from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 17th day of July, 1967. <br />f?.2.y.., lT7a?,.,_?,. ?2v? ?'//4Lc!(?, <br />Mayor - President of Counci? <br />Attest: <br />?
