appurtenances, and to cover the cost of said improvement, the Clerk-Treasurer
<br />of the Village of Mayfield has certified that special assessments in the
<br />aggregate amount of$5?165,69 have been paid in cash during the period provided
<br />by law for said improvement; and
<br />WHEREAS, in pursuance to Ordinance No. 1006, passed May 15, 1967,
<br />levying special assessments in the sum of $119,326.00 to provide a fund for
<br />the payment of principal and interest of said bonds to be issued in antici-
<br />pation of the collection of special assessments for the improvement of Ldorton
<br />Park Drive, North Woodlane Drive, Norman Lane, South Woodlane Drive, and
<br />Woodlane Drive between the termini and in the manner specified in Resolution
<br />No. 639 adopted March 15, 1965, for the grading, draining, curbing, paving
<br />and constructing curb connections where necessary and appurtenances, and the
<br />Clerk-Treasurer of the Village ofMayfield has certified that special assess-
<br />ments in the aggregate amount of , ?16?782,8$ have been paid in cash during the
<br />period provided by law for said improvement. -
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD,
<br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, THAT:
<br />Sec. 1. To provide a fund for the payment of the cost and expense in
<br />anticipation of the collection of special assessments herein levied for the '
<br />improvement of Ridgebury Boulevard in the V.11age of Playfield, Ohio, between
<br />the termini and in the manner specified in Resolution No. 614 adopted
<br />September 17, 1964, and in accordance with Ordinance No. 1004, passed
<br />May 15, 1967, for the grading, draining, curbing, paving, and constructing curb
<br />connections where necessary and appurtenances, and to provide a fund for the
<br />payment of the cost and expense in anticipation of the collection of special
<br />assessments herein levied for the construction of a water main and appurtenances
<br />in said Ridgebury Boulevard in the Village of Playfield, Ohio, between the termini
<br />and in the manner specified in Resolution No. 615 adopted September 17, 1964, and
<br />in accordance with Ordinance No. 1005, passed May 15, 1967, and to provide a fund
<br />for the payment of the cost and expense in the anticipation in the colleceion
<br />of special assessments herein levied for grading, draining, and paving with
<br />asphaltic materials together with all necessary appurtenances, of Worton Park
<br />Drive, North Woodlane Drive, Norman Lane, South tdoodlane Drive, and Woodlane
<br />Drive in the Village of Mayfield, in accordance with Resolution No. 639 adopted
<br />bfarch 15, 1965, and in accordance with Ordinance No. 1006 passed May 15, 1967,
<br />it is necessary to issue and sell special assessment bonds of the Village of
<br />Mayfield, Ohio in the aggregate sum of $126,600.00, which•amount includes an
<br />amount estimeted to be sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds until the
<br />first collection of the assessments anticipated by these bonds is received.
<br />Sec. 2. Said bonds shall be numbered 1 to 127, inclusive, and shall
<br />bear interest at the rate of 4% per annum, payablesemi-annually, on the lst
<br />days of June and December of each yearA beginning December 1, 1967, shall be
<br />of the denomination of $1,000.00 each, and shall mature as follows, which
<br />maturities are hereby determined to be substantially in equal annual
<br />installments, to-wit: $14,600.00 on December 1, 1969.
<br />$14,000.00 on December 1, in each of the years 197D% to I977y,
<br />both inclusive,
<br />Said bonds shall be dated August 1, 1967.
<br />* Except Bond 1 shall be in the amount of $600.00.
