ORDINANCE No. ]??? <br />By Mr. WpkBER <br />AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE A PETTY CASH FUND <br />FOR THE SERVICE DIRECTOR <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAAOG A <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. There is hereby created a Petty Cash Fund to be in charge <br />of the Service Director of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio. <br />Sec. 2. There shall be paid f rom the General Fund the sum of $25.00 <br />into the Petty Cash Fund of the Service Director and from said fund the <br />Service Director shall be authorized to pay emergency expenses for the <br />purposes of said Department which, while within the general scope of <br />expenses authorized by the current appropriation ordinance, have not been <br />specifically authorized, payment for which canttot be postpotted until the <br />next meeting of Council, The Service Director shall take a receipt for <br />such payments and,shall present them at the next meeting of the Council <br />attd, if Council approves such payments, it shall order the reimbursement <br />of the petty cash fund of the Service Director to the extent of such <br />payments, so that immediately after each Council Meeting there shall <br />always be the sum of $25.00 available in said fund for use until the next <br />Council meeting. <br />Sec. 3. Ordinance No. 574, entitled: "An Ordinance to Create a <br />Petty Cash Fund for the Service Director attd Buildittg Inspector", passed <br />January 21, 1957, is hereby repealed. <br />Sec. 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the iromediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare for the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, <br />in order to provide for the more expeditious operation of the office of <br />Service Director aqd shall go into effect and be in force immediately upon <br />the date_of its passage. ?}p /j???? ? <br />U <br />Passed this day of _, 1967. <br />Attest: Mayor - President of C uncil <br />(Seal) Clerk-Treasure
