ORDINANCE NO. 2008-07 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 131.05(c) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ESTABLISHING THE <br />COMPENSATION OF HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR FOR 2008 AND <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT THEREWITH. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Existing Section 131.05(c) of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby amended by increasing the compensation of <br />the Human Services Director so that the new Subsection 131.05(c) will read <br />as follows: <br />(c) The Human Services Director shall be paid the biweekly sum <br />of Eight Hundred Thirty and 23/100 Dollars ($830.23) for a <br />minimum of twenty-five (25) hours per week. The Human <br />Services Director shall be a part-time position. <br />SECTION 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance, in <br />whole or in part, are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with <br />this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions <br />of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its <br />committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the <br />
