Pea~,~,(G-~` <br />~3~~ <br />IN THE CITY OF HAYFIELD HEIGHTS <br />RESOLUTION N0.2016-12 <br />INTRODUCED BY: MAYOR ANTHONY DICICCO <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A MUTUAL EXCHANGE OF <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE HAYFIELD CITY <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT, THE CITY OF HIGHLAND HEIGHTS <br />AND THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD TO PROVIDE FOR THE <br />MUTUAL EXCHANGE OF LIFEGUARD SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, it is the expressed desire of the Mayfield City School District, Mayfield <br />Village, Highland Heights and Mayfield Heights to enter into a Mutual Exchange of Services <br />Agreement for the interchange of reciprocal emergency management assistance or aid in the <br />form of lifeguard services between and among their municipalities and the city school district, <br />as deemed necessary, when current staffing is deemed inadequate; and <br />WHEREAS, this Mutual Exchange of Services Agreement will allow for the provision <br />of reciprocal services across jurisdictional lines, enhance the capabilities of each community <br />and the city school district to provide lifeguard staff to meet staffing requirements, and will <br />extend recreational pool access through Labor Day weekend for at least one (1) of the three (3) <br />municipal pools, as well as for the indoor pool located at Mayfield High School. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF HAYFIELD HEIGHTS, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Muiual <br />Exchange of Services Agreement with the Mayfield City School District, the City of Highland <br />Heights and the Village of Mayfield to provide for the mutual exchange of lifeguarding <br />services, generally in the form attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and incorporated herein as <br />if fully rewritten, subject to the approval of the Duector of Law. <br />SECTION 2. This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council, <br />and that deliberations of this Council and its committees, resulting in such formal action, took <br />place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including <br />the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3.
