J <br />-- - RESOLUTION NO. 2015-09 <br />? INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTER INTO A CONSULTING AGREEMENT <br />WITH CHAPMAN AND CHAPMAN <br />FOR EMPLOYEE BENEFITS CONSULTING SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, it is the expressed desire of Mayfield Village to enter into a Consulting <br />Agreement with Chapman and Chapman for employee benefits consulting services; and <br />WHEREAS, said services to be provided by Chapman and Chapman are more fully <br />outlined in the referenced letter attached hereto as Exiibit A and as additionally set forth in <br />Addendum 1 of said letter for a term of thirty-six (36) months. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and President of Council to enter <br />into a Consulting Agreement with Chapman and Chapman for employee benefits consulting <br />services as more fully outlined in a letter dated January 1, 2015 from Chapman and Chapman <br />to Mr. Ron Wynne, Director of Finance, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference <br />as Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2. The Council fmds and deternunes that all formal actions of the Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, <br />took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the unmediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative
