SA _ a RESOLUTION NO. 2015-16 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A 12ESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY TREASURER <br />TO ADVANCE FROM THE PROCEEDS OF TAX LEVIES <br />FOR THE COLLECTION YEAR 2016 <br />WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that money <br />deposited in a County Treasurer to the account of a local authority and lawfully <br />applicable to the purpose of the current fiscal year may be withdrawn by a <br />municipality upon the proper request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined that sound fiscal policy <br />requires that such withdrawal be requested from the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer <br />and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer be and is hereby requested <br />to draw warrants and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby requested <br />to pay the Village of Mayfield all monies presently being held in the Cuyahoga <br />County Treasury to the account of the Village of Mayfield, lawfully applicable to the <br />purpose of the fiscal year 2016. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed immediately <br />to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer and the <br />Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings <br />of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section <br />121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
