RESOLUTION N0.2014-02 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION CONFII2MING THE APPOINTMENT OF MARY E. BETSA, AS CLERK OF COUNCIL BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The appointment of Mary E. Betsa as Clerk of Council for Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby confirmed subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter established. SECTION 2. As Clerk of Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, Mary E. Betsa shall be responsible for all support duties concerning Village Council. She shall furthermore perform all duties as specified in the Charter and Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield and as determined by Council. SECTION 3. Upon the effective date of this reappointment and confirmation by Council, Mary E. Betsa shall be entitled to be compensated at the rate set forth in the Village's wage ordinance per year for all services rendered to the municipality in her capacity as Clerk of Council. SECTION 4. Mary E. Betsa will serve as Clerk of Council effective January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2015. SECTION 5. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 6. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage
