RESOLUTION 2013-18 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bruce G. Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUT60fd OF APPRECIATION TO <br />JOANNE ClNCO <br />WHEREAS, Joanne Cinco was elected in 1987 to Mayfield Village Council; and <br />WHEREAS, for 26 years, Joanne Cinco has served the residents of Mayfield Village with integrity <br />and dedication in her capacity as Council Representative at Large; and <br />VlIHEREAS, during her years on Council, Joanne Cinco served as Council President and Council <br />President Pro-Tem; <br />WHEREAS, Joanne Cinco also served on numerous Council Committees and Boards, most recently <br />Chairing the Safety & Service and Drainage & Infrastructure Committees. Through the years, <br />Joanne and her family volunteered at a variety of community events, including, but certainly not <br />limited to, Mother's Day Pancake Breakfasts, the Kooky Spooky Monster Maze, Village Days, July <br />4th Celebrations, Cruise Night, and Singing Angels concerts. Joanne participated in the SOM Center <br />Road Widening Project, development of the Progressive partnership and the Parkview recreational <br />complex, as well as countless community projects completed over the last two and a half decades; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Joanne Cinco and her husband, Brian, have been happily married for 45 years and <br />have two daughters, Nicole and Mindy, and four grandchildren, Ainsley, Elise, Amelia and Willa. <br />Grandma Cinco did not seek re-election in order to spend more quality time with her family, travel, <br />and enjoy moments she cannot later recapture; and <br />WHEREAS, Joanne Cinco's devoted service to the residents of Mayfield Village was evident during <br />her tenure as Mayfield Village Council Representative at Large and should not go unnoticed without <br />an expression of appreciation by her peers. We thank her for her devoted service to her community, <br />and most important, for her friendship. She will be greatly missed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF IIlIIAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />THAT: <br />Joanne Cinco be and is hereby recognized for <br />over twenty-six (26) years of dedicated and exceptional seriice to lUlayfield Village. <br />0 <br />SECTION 1. The Village of Mayfield, its Mayor, Council, residents, employers, employees <br />and officials wish to thank Joanne Cinco for her many years of dedicated and tireless service; and <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating <br />to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in <br />meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare duplicate <br />original copies of this Resolution. One such original shall be presented to Joanne Cinco. The other <br />original shall be placed in the permanent records of the Village as a lasting tribute to Joanne Cinco. <br />SECTION 4, This resolution shall become effective upon its adoption by Council and the <br />signature of the Mayor, or as may otherwise be provi <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED: <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />AT <br />oseph W.
