J . . <br />RESOLUTION N0.2012-02 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF <br />MARY E. BETSA, AS CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The appointment of Mary E. Betsa as Clerk of Council for Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, is hereby confirmed subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter <br />established. <br />SECTION 2. As Clerk of Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, Mary E. Betsa shall <br />be responsible for all support duties concerning Village Council. She shall furthermore <br />perform a11 duties as specified in the Charter and Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield <br />and as determined by Council. <br />SECTION 3. Upon the effective date of this reappointment and confirmation by <br />Council, Mary E. Betsa shall be entitled to be compensated at the rate set forth in the <br />Village's wage ordinance per year for all services rendered to the municipality in her <br />capacity as Clerk of Council. <br />SECTION 4. Mary E. Betsa will serve as Clerk of Council effective January 1, <br />2012 through December 31, 2013. <br />SECTION 5. The Council fmds and determines that all formal actions of the <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 6. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents <br />of Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the
