Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />HAYFIELD VILLAGE HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR EUNICE G. KALINA <br />FOR OVER TWENTY-FOUR YEARS OF DEDICATION AND SERVICE <br />AND CONGRATULATING HERON HER RETIREMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 1, 1987, Eunice G. Kalina became Human Services Director for Mayfield <br />Village, serving the Senior Citizens of Mayfield Village; <br />WHEREAS, as Human Services Director for Mayfield Village, Eunice G. Kalina coordinated programs, <br />activities, trips and parties for the Senior Citizens of Mayfield Village; <br />WHEREAS, Eunice Kalina also served on the Commission on Aging, providing leadership to a <br />committee whose purpose is to assess the needs of and provide assistance to the Senior Citizens of Mayfield <br />Village; <br />WHEREAS, Eunice Kalina also served on the Board of Trustees for Hillcrest Meals on Wheels, an <br />organization dedicated to the health and welfare of Seniors, and <br />WHEREAS, for almost a quarter century, Eunice Kalina has dedicated her talent, time, effort and <br />compassion for the Senior Citizens of Mayfield Village. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COiTNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Eunice G. Kalina be and is hereby recognized for over twenty-four (24) years of <br />dedicated and exceptional service to Hayfield Village. <br />SECTION 1. The Village of Mayfield, its Mayor, Council, residents, employers, employees and officials <br />thank Eunice G. Kalina for her many years of dedicated service and congratulate her on her retirement. <br />SECTION 2. The Council fmds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating to the <br />adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this <br />Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 3. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare duplicate original copies <br />of this Resolution. One such original shall be presented to Eunice G. Kalina. The other original shall be placed <br />in the permanent records of the Village as a lasting tribute to Eunice G. Kalina. <br />SECTION 4.
