J <br />ORDINANCE N0. 2002- 34 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE AND <br />ENTER INTO A PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH <br />SANDRA POLZ AS AND FOR THE ACQUIS(TION OF REAL <br />ESTATE LOCATED AT 6180 AND 6186 WIl.SON MILLS ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield finds it in its best interest to acquire the <br />property located at 6180 and 6186 Wilson Mills Rvad; and WHEREAS, SANDRA POLZ is the current owner of these two parcels of land <br />also known as Permanent Parcel Numbers 831-33-045 and 831-33-004; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />County of Cuyahoga, and State of Ohio, that; <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor is authorized and directed to negotiate and enter into the <br />Purchase Agreements, a form substantially similar to that attached hereto, and <br />incorporated herein at Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" with SANDRA POLZ. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code, <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio. ft shall, therefore, take effecfi imniediately upon the passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than flve (5) members elected to Council and approval by the <br />Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law, <br /> <br />llz-. <br />' <br />WILLIAM BUCKHOL. <br />Council President
