ORDINANCE N0.2004-21 <br />PAGE 1 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 133.02 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE CREATING A PETTY <br />CASH ACCOUNT FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has requested a petty cash account be set up in the <br />amount of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for the Fire Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That Section 133.02 of the Codified Ordinances, subsections (b), (c) <br />and (d), are hereby and herein amended to read as follows: <br />133.02 PETTY CASH FUND <br />(b) The following are authorized Petty Cash Accounts for the Municipality: <br />(1) Finance Department ....................................... $300.00 <br />(2) Service/Building Department (Per Section 137.02).. $100.00 <br />(3) Police Department ......................................... $200.00 <br />(4) Police Department "Flash Account" .................... $500.00 <br />(5) Investigative "Flash Account" ........................... $200.00 <br />(6) Clerk of Council Office .................................. $100.00 <br />(7) Recreation Committee .................................... $100.00 <br />(8) Activities Committee ..................................... $300.00 <br />(9) Summer Camp ................................................ $500.00 <br />(10) Commission on Aging .................................... $200.00 <br />(11) Fire Department ........................................... $100.00 <br />Total Petty Cash $2,600.00 <br />(c) The Following are the custodians for the respective specific Petty Cash <br />Accounts listed in subsection (b) hereof: <br />(1) Finance Department: Assistant Finance Director <br />(2) Service and Building Department: Secretary to Service/Building <br />Commissioner <br />(3) Police Department: Secretary to the Chief of Police <br />(4) Police Flash Account: Chief of Police <br />(5) Investigative Flash Account: Detective assigned by the Chief of Police <br />(6) Clerk of Council Office: Clerk of Council <br />
