FISCAL OFFICER'S CERTIFICATE <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio <br />August 16, 2004 <br />TO THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO: <br />As fiscal officer of Mayfield Village, Ohio, I certify in connection with the proposed issue of <br />$4,500,000 of notes (the Notes) to be issued in anticipation of the issuance of bonds (the Bonds) for the <br />purpose of acquiring certain real estate together with the existing buildings and other structures located <br />thereon and any related equipment and certain other real estate for recreational purposes (Project No. 1), <br />constructing facilities for storm water management and wetlands preservation (Project No. 2), installing <br />roadway safety and message signage and signalization at the intersections of North Commons Boulevazd and <br />White Road, Parkview Drive and S.O.M. Center Road, White Road and S.O.M. Center Road and <br />Sandalwood Drive and S.O.M. Center Road (Project No. 3), and improving the parks and recreation system <br />of the Village by acquiring certain real estate, constructing and lighting ball fields, together with the <br />necessary appurtenances thereto, and otherwise improving that system (Project No. 4), that: <br />1. The estimated life or period of usefulness of each of the Projects is at least five years. <br />,1 ~ „ <br />2. The estimated maximum maturity for each portion of the Bonds which is to be allocated to each <br />of these Projects, calculated in accordance with Section 133.20 of the Revised Code and based upon my <br />estimate of the period of usefulness of each of these Projects, and in accordance with the fiscal officer's <br />certificates originally and subsequently filed with respect thereto, is as follows: <br />Project Dollars Mazimum <br />Number Allocated Maturity of Bonds <br />1 $3,250,000 18 years <br />2 175,000 40 years <br />3 175,000 20 yeazs <br />4 900,000 25 years <br />If notes in anticipation of the Bonds with respect to such Project have been outstanding later than <br />the last day of December of the fifth year following the year of issuance of the original issue of notes with <br />respect to such Project, the maximum maturity of the Bonds with respect to such Project set forth above has <br />already been reduced by the period in excess of those five yeazs. <br />3.
