ORDINANCE NO. 2004-36 <br />PAGE 4 <br />. (d) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no other <br />penalty is provided shall be fined ten dollars ($10.00) if paid after forty-eight <br />hours and before seventy-two hours after such violation. <br />(e) Additional fines up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) may be <br />assessed in the event the parking violation is not waived. <br />(tJ Any person, firm or corporation charged with a violation of any <br />provision of this chapter for which payment of a prescribed fine may be made, <br />may pay such sum in the manner prescribed on the issued traffic ticket. Such <br />payments shall be deemed a plea of guilty, waiver of court appearance and <br />acknowledgment of conviction of the alleged offense and may be accepted in full <br />satisfaction of the prescribed penalty for such alleged violation. Payment of the <br />prescribed fine need not be accepted when laws provide that a certain number of <br />such offenses shall require a court appearance. <br />SECTION 3. That all other Sections of the Codified Ordinances shall <br />remain as presently drafted unless inconsistent with this ordinance. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open <br />meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its <br />committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the <br />-- public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of <br />Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the <br />residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio.
