ORDINANCE NO. 2004-40 (As Amended) <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CODIFIED ORDINANCE SECTION 1183.05 <br />RELATING TO THE SCHEDULE OF REQUIRED <br />OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Village's Planning Commission <br />that the Schedule of Required Off-Street Parking Spaces, Codified at Section <br />1183.05 be amended to reduce the number of parking spaces required for retail <br />establishments, medical and dental establishments and <br />industrial/manufacturing/warehouse facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to adopt the recommendations of the Planning <br />Commission and to amend Codified Ordinance Section 1183.05 accordingly. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 1183.05 of the Codified Ordinances be and is hereby <br />and herein amended to read as follows: <br />1183.05 SCHEDULE OF REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES. <br />Buildina or Use Parkina Soaces Required <br />Residential <br />One and two-family dwellings 2 enclosed spaces per dwelling unit <br />which shall include dwelling units <br />which share common walls and <br />access is not gained through an <br />entrance used in common with <br />other dwelling unit occupants <br />Apartments 2-1 /2 spaces per dwelling unit of which <br />one space shall be enclosed <br />Institutional <br />Public, private or parochial <br />schools: <br />Elementary 1 space per classroom plus 4 spaces per <br />nonteaching employees, unless an <br />auditorium, multi-purpose room or athletic <br />stadium is included in the construction <br />High schools and trade schools 1 space per 5 seats <br />
