U91?W VO)r APl" RECl Al l ?W ?M <br />Ll L l.L??XAff V l L0JVAL L 1" Ol\.l E11. <br />W?`.I?EREAs, Lieutenant Donald Porter was hired as a full time firefighter on December 19, 1977 and <br />retired December 29, 2003 with 26 years of service to Mayfield Village; and <br />"NERW, Lieutenant Donald Porter was trained extensively in hazardous materials safety and was <br />one of the first hazardous materials specialists in the State of Ohio; and <br />%WERER$, Lieutenant Donald Porter served as Training Officer of the Mayfield Village Fire <br />Department; and <br />?ERE-A5, Lieutenant Donald Porter strived to enhance the lives of others by campaigning for <br />Improved fire codes and safety issues; and <br />`TWERF?, Lieutenant Donald Porter conducted many fire safety activities throughout the <br />community; and <br />`TWEREN,S? Lieutenant Donald Porter is the first full time firefighter of the Mayf'ield Village <br />Fire Department to retire from the department; and <br />`?`}?ERfA$, Lieutenant Donald Porter was a founding member of the International Association <br />Of Firefighters Loca12619; and <br />BE 17"RESo.C'VED By ?tHE mAyoR A-wD couxcif- oF <br />-MAy.?-TE.CD 'v?LLAcE, oHro ?rAAT-- <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on behalf of the entire administration, <br />employees and residents of the municipality, are proud to commend Lieutenant Donald Porter for his outstanding <br />achievement. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare duplicate original copies <br />of the Resolution.
