Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A 11.EJ 01 l,! 10JV 1JV 9?RJB l,? ?? 9"0 <br />-CAWR,EXCE J. ?.? yWJV <br />WHERDPI,$, Lawrence Flynn diligently served his country in the Army; and <br />WHE-WEAS, Lawrence Flynn embarked on a 25 year career as a dedicated firefighter <br />reaching the rank of Captain and Acting Chief; and <br />`dl?`}fE-REMS, Lawrence Flynn established `Flynn Electric', a company well-known for <br />competent, fair, and high quality work; and <br />Lawrence Flynn sponsored, managed and coached numerous Mayfield <br />Village softball teams; and <br />W1?`?,` EAS, as a civic leader, Lawrence Flynn served 20 years on Mayfield Village <br />Council, served as Council President, President Pro-Tem, and on occasion Acting Mayor. He also served on <br />the finance committee, promoted balanced budgets, and strong city services; and <br />`Yl?`.1?ERf?$, Lawrence Flynn loved music, especially Irish and Country and Western and <br />had a passion for country line dancing; and V`X`,` EA$, for 43 years, Judy and Larry stood side by side facing life's joys and <br />surprises, as well as its heartaches and adversities; and <br />`TWE?REA$, the pride Lawrence Flynn had in his sons, his commitment to family, <br />friends, his community and his country cannot be compared; and <br />woW, 7"HEREFoR.E, BE ?T'RES0117ED B y ?:.?fE -,AvtAyoR <br />AN'"? COUNCI-r OF M.AY,TIgLD rV?L-CAGE, OHIO ?rHAP <br />Lawrence Flynn be and is hereby recognized for his devoted service to Mayfield Village. <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on behalf of the entire administration, <br />empioyees anci residents of the municipaiity, are proud to express their sincere appreciation to Lawrence Flynn. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare duplicate original <br />copies of the Resolution. One such original shall be presented to the Lawrence Flyrui family. The other original shall <br />be placed in the pennanent records of the Village as a lasting tribute to Lawrence Flynn. <br />U <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective upon its adoption by Council and signature of the <br />Mayor, or as may otherwise be provided for in law.
