RESOLUTION NO. 95-45 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor R.inker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY TREASURER <br />TO ADVANCE FROM THE PROCEEDS OF TAX LEVIES <br />FOR THE COLLECTION YEAR 1996 <br />WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that <br />money in a County Treasurer.to the account.of a local authority and <br />lawfully applicable to the purpose of the current fiscal year may <br />be withdrawn by a municipality upon the proper request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined that sound <br />fiscal policy requires that such withdrawal be requested from <br />Cuyahoga County Auditor and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Cuyahoga County Auditor be and is hereby <br />requested to draw warrants and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be <br />and is hereby requested to pay the Village of Mayfield all monies <br />presently being held in the Cuyahoga County Treasury to the account <br />of the Village of Mayfield, lawfully applicable to the purpose of <br />the fiscal year 1996. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed <br />immediately to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Cuyahoga <br />County Auditor and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4.
