ORDINANCE NO. 95- 02 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE PARTICIPATION IN A POINT OF <br />ACCESS STUDY WITH THE CITY OF HIGHLAND HEIGHTS <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it necessary and in the <br />best interest of the residents of the Village of Mayfield to <br />participate in a point of access study of the Wilson Mills Road, I- <br />271 area, with the City of Highland Heights. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That authorization is hereby granted by the <br />Village Council for participation in a point of access study of the <br />Wilson Mills Road, I-271 area with the City of Highland Heights, <br />Ohio, and authorizes payment therefore in an amount not to exceed <br />Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00). <br />SECTION 2. That the Director of Finance and the Village <br />Engineer are authorized to undertake whatever action necessary to <br />facilitate the Village's participation in this point of access <br />study. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the <br />further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
