ORDINANCE NO. 95-30 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH CROSS-ROADS ASPHALT RECYCLING <br />FOR ASPHALT. STREET 1~TdQ $ CRACK SEALING <br />THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, the Village has advertised pursuant to law for <br />asphalt street ,3,~~a~;t~p4~1 crack sealing work throughout the <br />Village; and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest and best bid was that of Cross-Roads <br />Asphalt Recycling in the amount of Thirteen'Thousand Three Hundred <br />Sixty Five Dollars ($13,365.00). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into an agreement upon the terms and <br />specifications previously established with Cross-Roads Asphalt <br />Recycling for an amount not to exceed Thirteen Thousand Three <br />Hundred Sixty Five Dollars ($13,365.00), as and for asphalt street <br />r~j~v.~xx~.t~~e~-•=crack sealing repairs throughout the Village. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized to make <br />payment in the amount of Thirteen Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Five <br />Dollars ($13,365.00) out of the appropriate account. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the.Ohio Revised Code.. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the <br />further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
