__ ORDINANCE NO. 95-31 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE ADDITION TO THE WEST END OF THE COMMUNITY ROOM WHEREAS, the Village has received bids from various contractors for an addition to the west end of the Community Room; and WHEREAS, said addition is necessary for storage area and accommodating the movement of public and Council meetings to the Community Room on a permanent basis; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That Council has determined that the contract should be awarded as follows: Concrete--Carney; Electrical--B & K; Frame--Kline for a combined amount not to exceed $ 35,000.00 SECTION 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are authorized to enter into agreements for such work, as approved by the Director of Law, for the amounts indicated. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
