ORDINANCE NO. 95-61 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE V, SECTIONS 12(A) <br />AND 12.1 OF THE CHARTER OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE <br />PERTAINING TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS <br />WHEREAS, Article XI of the Village Charter provides for a <br />Charter Review Commission every five years; and <br />WHEREAS, the Charter Review Commission has recommended to <br />Council the amendment as hereinafter stated. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That Article V, Sections 12 (A) and 12.1 of the <br />Charter of the Village of Mayfield, is hereby and herein amended to <br />read as follows: <br />ARTICLE V <br />ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />SECTION 12. BOARD OF APPEALS. <br />(A) Creation, Powers and Duties. <br />The Council shall provide by ordinance for a Board of <br />Appeals to hear appeals for exceptions to, and variances <br />in, the application of resolutions, ordinances, <br />regulations, building codes, measures and orders of <br />administrative officials or agencies governing zoning and <br />building in the Municipality.
