f ` P1 ORDINANCE NO. 95-73 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 351.13 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES PROHIBITING PARKING OF VEHICLES IN FRONT YARD AREAS WHEREAS, the Ordinance Review Committee has recommended the creation of a new section relative to the prohibition of front yard storage of certain motor vehicles. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That Section 351.13 is hereby and herein created to read as follows: 351.13 PARKING ON FRONT YARDS OR TREE LAWNS. No person or property owner shall park or store, for the purpose of selling, at any time, any motor vehicles, truck, tractor-trailer, motorcycle, trailer, bus, boat or other vehicle between the residence set-back lien and the public right-of-way, except on the driveway and/or turn-around area previously approved. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations. of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
