ORDINANCE 95-78 <br />(e) Part-Time Firefighter Station Duty <br />Station duty, drill and/or training whenever on scheduled station duty. Those on scheduled station duty <br />time are not entitled to the call out pay provision. All part time fire fighters are eligible to work station <br />duty at their assigned rate of pay and rank. For work performed on the holidays described in Section G, <br />all part time fire fighters will be compensated an additional fifty cent ($.50) per hour. <br />Hourlv Rate ` <br />1995 1996 <br />Part-Time Captain ~~ $10.82 $11.25 <br />First Class Firefighter $10.82 $11.25 <br />Second Class Firefighter $9.24 $9.60 <br />Third Class Firefighter $7.06 $7.34 <br />Fourth Class Firefighter $5.98 $6.22 <br />Second through fourth class fire fighters shall follow National Fire Protection Association Standard 1001 <br />for promotional tests beginning January 1, 1993. Those persons having experience (such as paramedics or <br />full-time fire fighters) may waive the time requirement and test out at each level of proficiency. <br />Second Class Firefighter <br />Following N.F.P.A. 1001 as a guideline for competence, this position would be available to a candidate 24 months <br />from the time of appointment to the Fire Department. <br />Third Class Firefighter <br />Following N.F.P.A. 1001 as a guideline for competence, this position would be available to a candidate 12 months <br />from the time of appointment to the Fire Department. <br />Fourth Class Firefighter <br />Following N.F.P.A. 1001 as a guideline for competence, this position would be available to a candidate 6 months <br />to a year from the time of appointment to the Fire Department at the discretion of the Fire Chief. <br />(fl Part-Time Firefighter Call Pay Schedule <br />1995 1996 <br />Captain First Hour $24.01 $24.97 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $14.87 $15.47 <br />First Class Firefighter First Hour $17.00 $17.68 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $10.82 $11.25 <br />With Paramedic Certificate First Hour $20.27 $21.08 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $12.83 $13.35 <br />~ WAGE ORDINANCE <br />
