RESOLUTION NO. 94- 9 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO <br />EXTEND THE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT WITH AMERITECH <br />IIVFORMATION SYSTEMS, INC. FOR THE <br />ENHANCED 9-1-1 SYSTEM <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUIdCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby <br />authorized to extend the maintenance contract relating to the <br />Enhanced 9-1-1 system with Ameritech Information Systems, Inc. for <br />the same amount of Six Thousand Four Hu.ndred Two Dollars and Forty <br />Cents for the period of January 1, 1994 to December 31, 1994, in <br />accordance with the contract terms previously entered into in 1992. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, for the reason that the maintenance of the Enhanced 9-1-1 <br />system is essential to providing emergency service to the citizens <br />and transients to Mayfield Village.
