RESOLUTION NO. 94- 9 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXTEND THE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT WITH AMERITECH IIVFORMATION SYSTEMS, INC. FOR THE ENHANCED 9-1-1 SYSTEM BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUIdCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized to extend the maintenance contract relating to the Enhanced 9-1-1 system with Ameritech Information Systems, Inc. for the same amount of Six Thousand Four Hu.ndred Two Dollars and Forty Cents for the period of January 1, 1994 to December 31, 1994, in accordance with the contract terms previously entered into in 1992. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the maintenance of the Enhanced 9-1-1 system is essential to providing emergency service to the citizens and transients to Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law. / /`???-6;0 J(y?N?E CINCO, C uncil President ?
