? <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-24 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bruce G. Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION <br />TO DEBBIE SNIITH <br />WHEREt9iS, Debbie Smith diligently served Mayfield Village as a dispatcher for the Police <br />and Fire Departments from October 1983 to May 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, dispatchers are a vital link between the emergency and safety.personnel of the <br />Village and Mayfield Village residents; and <br />WHEREAS, dispatchers are the front lines for advising and consoling residents and others <br />who are in need of emergency response and care, and are instrumental in coordinating the rescue <br />and care of individuals in life-threatening situations; and <br />WHEREAS, between July 1, 1984, and August 22, 1986, Debbie 5mith also served Mayfield <br />Village as an auxiliary officer who assisted the Police Department in directing traffic at special <br />events in and around the Village of Mayfield. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on behalf of themselves and <br />the residents of the Municipality hereby express their sincere appreciation to Debbie Smith. The <br />Mayor and Council further extend their best wishes to Ms. Smith in her future endeavors. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare duplicate <br />original copies of this Resolution. One such original shall be presented to Debbie Smith. The other <br />original shall be placed in the permanent records of the Village as a lasting tribute to Debbie Smith. <br />Section 3.
